Peerless

At the summer camp I worked at we would usually have a "hike day." This summer I would typically be assigned the med-pack of the hike. As med-pack, I would hike in the back of the group and campers would come to me regarding any medical concerns during the hike. This week, shown in the photo, I hiked one of our more difficult trails, Peerless. During this hike, I had two campers who stayed at the back of the group with me. Both were struggling to keep up with the rest of the group, one physically and the other mentally. It was a struggle for the two campers to reach the top of that mountain, but they made it. It felt so fulfilling to reach the peak of this mountain and I felt so proud of the two campers who stuck with me throughout the hike.
